Vernon College BSM

The Vernon College BSM (Baptist Student Ministry) currently operates in partnership with and under the leadership of the Midwestern State University BSM in Wichita Falls.  The BSM Director at MSU and/or his designated intern(s) oversee the weekly activites of the VC BSM.  They travel to Vernon and spend at least 1 day each week on the Vernon College campus engaging students, conducting Bible studies, providing a free lunch, and so forth.  This arrangement greatly benefits VC students by connecting them to the resources, mission opportunites, and other ministries of the much larger MSU BSM.

When classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters, around 30-50 students attend the Vernon College BSM lunch each week.  This is a tremendous outreach opportunity.  After the meal, a brief devotional is given.  Students are encouraged to give their lives to Jesus Christ and get involved in the various ministries and activities of the BSM and a local church.  These delicious lunches are provided by area churches.  If your church would like to participate by providing one of these weekly meals please contact the Bi-Fork Association to reserve a date.
